A 72-year-old man arrested in Iwo, Osun state for removing a human skull from a cemetery says he made a mistake, Daily Trust reports.

Idris Ajao claimed to be a bricklayer, but said a herbalist Tajudeen Jawesola had assigned him to exhume skulls from graves in the cemetery in return for N10,000.
Police, acting on a tipoff, deployed around the cemetery and arrested him with a skull.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Fimihan Adeoye said police detectives got the hint about the atrocities of Ajao and trailed him until he was caught with the skull.
Ajao told Daily Trust, “Mistake has no master.”

The Ekiti Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lambasted the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, for commending the state governor, Ayodele Fayose.

Adejugbe, during a tour of the State as part of the Church’s ‘Let’s go a fishing’ programme, had lauded Fayose for his boldness and courage in defence of his people and said a prayer for him.

You have been a governor who knows when to say enough is enough in defence of his people. And I’m sure you know what I’m talking about and I am sure the world knows. I don’t want to say more than that but be assured that we are praying for you and you will succeed in Jesus name.”

However, the APC, while frowning, said it was alarming that a cleric of Mr. Adeboye’s standing could praise Governor Fayose for his persistent insults and abuses on President Muhammadu Buhari,
This is even as the party noted that the cleric should be seen as speaking for himself and his comment must not be seen as representing that of the entire members of the RCCG.
In a release issued in Ado Ekiti on Sunday and signed by the state chairman of the party, Jide Awe, the party alleged that Mr. Fayose could have bribed Mr. Adeboye with huge amount of money to get such endorsement, which is not being circulated, Premium Timesreports.

He warned that Fayose is a man that can bribe even angel of God to endorse the devil, even as he cautioned Mr. Adeboye to avoid what will make the people of Ekiti rise against him.
Awe said Mr. Adeboye should be reminded that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is a staunch member of the RCCG and what is expected of the cleric was support for members of his church, not praise singing of Mr. Fayose.

”HOW I DUPED 33 MEN ON INSTAGRAM PRETENDING TO BE A LADY” – IG BIG BOY CONFESSES

A 22- year old suspect, Falope Oluwole, duped over 33 men while pretending to be a lady on Instagram. He has been arrested by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos State Police Command.

Falope according to a statement by the Police was arrested when officials of the RRS decoy team, who had been monitoring him for some weeks, trailed him to a popular club in Ikeja City Mall on Thursday evening.
The officers were reported to have monitored him, and those he was interacting with at the club before arresting him and a colleague late in the night.
It was gathered that the suspect recently celebrated his birthday at Hard & Rock, Lekki, Lagos, week
before his arrest, where he spent over half a million on foods and drinks.
The suspect, a 100 level part time student of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos, who allegedly confessed committing the crime, said that he has been in the business for more than two years.
The Police revealed that Falope’s activities on Instagram was placed under investigations when it received a complaint about an Instagram handle @blackberbiedoll, used for criminal activities, which was later traced to him.
Apart from @blackberbiedoll, which he prominently used for fraudulent activities, he maintained @froshwhite007 and @froshwhite separately for same purpose.
The complainant, Bernard stated that he got a friend request from @blackberbiedoll.
“Apparently, the picture on the account was that of a lady. The lady in question messaged me on BBM. Honestly, I thought I was chatting with a woman who claimed to be in Nigeria at the time.
“She lied to me that her father was a Nigerian and her mum, a Kenyan, and so we got talking. At a point, she lied that she was building a beauty outfit in Ikota Shopping Mall, VGC and that she was in need of some money to complete the mall.
“I had to transfer N1million to her. Weeks later, I grew suspicious of the account name Olawole Israel Oluwaseun Falope. I ran a search on Google, and then discovered it was all scam.
” Immediately, I reported the incident to Instagram and that account was blocked and later suspended to prevent others from falling victim”.Another victim, who did not want his identity disclosed said he paid N100, 000 into her account to support her bogus fashion outfit.
Admitting the allegation, the suspect noted that since he started the fraudulent act about two years ago, he had duped no fewer than 33 men pretending to be a lady on Instagram and that the least amount he received from any of them was N80,000.
“When I started, much as I pretended to be a lady on phone, some men on the other side didn’t believe me. I then downloaded an app on Google which transformed my voice into that of a lady whenever I am having conversation.
I got several pictures of Shayla, a pretty United States based lady on my profile. Since then, men have been disturbing me and calling to request for a date”, he stated.
“what I do is that I assess people based on their appearance on Instagram, add them and thereafter open up conversations with them before I start bringing up all manners of stories in order to dupe them.
” At a point, I lied to most of them that I had an accident and I lost my ATM. I told them that I need some money. Some of them were generous enough to drop money into my account”.
“I lied to them that I was putting up a boutique and saloon at Ikota, VGC and Lekki, and that I need money to finish setting up.
” I know I made a mistake downloading Shayla’s pictures and used them for fraudulent purposes. I am telling you the truth, those that I have collected money from cant be more than 33”, he explained.Investigations revealed that the owner of the profile pictures the suspect used, @Shayla had complained to Instagram that some Nigerians were using her profile pictures to scam unsuspecting members of the public.

On Friday morning, an “upset” caller spoke to the US police to report a woman who had “frozen to death” in Hudson, New York state.

What happened was night time in the northern clutches of the US has been quite chilly as temperatures have been dropping to around -13 degrees.
Officers responded to the 911 call, rolled up to a vehicle, covered in frost and snow, and saw what appeared to be a woman trapped inside. The figure pictured above was seat-belted up, seemingly dead, while wearing an oxygen mask.
So the Hudson Police Department broke into the vehicle to get to her.
Only for the ‘woman’ to turn out to be a mannequin. The owner said it he used it as a medical training
aid and was a bit upset that his car had been smashed up.
To be fair to the caller who spotted it, the mannequin was extremely realistic. She was wearing real clothing, glasses, shoes, teeth. She even had skin blemishes. Her hair looked real too.
When the Hudson Police Department tracked the owner down, he complained about the drastic action.

“It is my understanding that the owner was incredulous that we took action in this matter. He apparently was quite vocal and vulgar to my sergeant.

He took to his Facebook page and wrote:

Boy who was sealed in a wall in Ondo– Last week, a boy who was reportedly 12 years old, who was sealed in the wall of a house in Ondo state was rescued. Several reports emerged as to how he ended up inside the wall of the house which looked old and dilapidated, none ofwhich made much sense.
However, Channels TV crew visited the sight of the incident to find out what the people in the town really knew about the boy and the weird incident. The boy was identified as Aduragbemi Saka.According to Channels TV, the house where the boy was found is located at 3B Akinfemisoye Street, Oduduwa Area in New Town, Ondo State.

The owner of the house reportedly travelled out of the country several years ago, so wasn’t at the location of the incident when it happened, but the building was being occupied by students of Adeyemi College of Education
